The Sofitel Legend Casco Antiguo is one of only six Sofitel Legend hotels in the world, housed in the neoclassical 1917 Club Union building on the waterfront of Casco Viejo. This elite private club hosted Albert Einstein and Queen Elizabeth II before being abandoned and meticulously restored to open as a five-star hotel in 2023. Its 159 rooms are complemented by a collection of over 1,000 Panamanian artworks, a rooftop pool with color-changing LEDs, gardens with pink fountains and mosaics, and five dining venues under Michelin-starred chef Lorenzo Di Gravio, including Caleta restaurant and the Ammi Skybar.
