Day 1: Beach & Snorkeling
Morning: Relaxed breakfast on the property terrace. Walk to the beach for a morning swim in crystal-clear waters. Mid-morning: Snorkeling session right in front of the property — look for angelfish, parrotfish, and starfish on the nearby reefs. Lunch: Prepare something fresh in the kitchen or order from a local restaurant. Afternoon: Relax in the hammock, read, or explore the beach walking east. Sunset: Cocktails with ocean views from the terrace.
Day budget: $20-40 per person (meals and snacks)
Day 2: Historic Portobelo
Morning (9 AM): Drive to Portobelo (20 min). Visit the Spanish colonial fortifications — Fort San Jerónimo, Fort Santiago, and the Royal Customs House. Mid-morning: Explore the Black Christ church and the town. Lunch: Fresh seafood at one of the waterfront restaurants ($8-15 per dish). Afternoon: Take a boat to a nearby beach for snorkeling (negotiable, ~$15-20 pp), or hike the Pirate Trail. Return: Back to the property for the evening. Day 3: San Blas Day Trip
Early departure (5-6 AM): A 4x4 picks you up for the journey to the Guna Yala comarca. The drive takes ~2 hours from the coast. Morning: Arrival at the paradise islands. Snorkeling in crystal-clear waters with starfish and tropical fish. Relax on white-sand beaches with palm trees. Lunch: Traditional Guna meal (fresh fish, plantain, coconut) included in the excursion. Afternoon: Visit 2-3 different islands, each with its unique character. Return (~4-5 PM): Arrive back at the property at sunset with incredible memories.
